Thomas Incledon, Ph.D.

Tom ISince 1989, Tom has maintained a significant role in the field of human health and athletic performance enhancement. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Human Performance Specialists, Inc. and Human Health Specialists where he helps individuals from all walks of life improve their health, quality of life, and athletic performance. He also advises some of the world’s most popular dietary supplement and nutraceutical companies on effective formulations.

Tom’s academic background includes an A.S. in Management, B.S. in Exercise Science, B.S. in Nutrition, M.S. in Kinesiology, and Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology. He is a registered dietitian, certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), and plans to pursue a medical or naturopathic doctor license in the future. His past research has covered weight loss, weight gain, athletic performance enhancement, and the physiological effects of diet and exercise. He is a member in over 30 different scientific organizations and serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals.

As a person who practices what he preaches, Tom is not one to be satisfied with all work and no play. His passion is competing in various weight lifting events, and he has been ranked nationally in powerlifting, Olympic lifting, all around lifting, and strongman competitions. His best lifts include: 187 pounds in the one arm snatch (with 7 foot bar), 286 pounds in the power snatch, 352 pounds in the power clean and jerk, 452 in the front squat, and 615 pounds in the dead lift, all while weighing under 200 pounds. Tom has also set national records in strongman competitions, including 19 reps in the 200-pound axle press.

Dr. Tom Jemison

Dr. TomDr. Tom Jemison has been involved in the health care industry for the past 8 years. During his college years in Denver, he worked as a toxicology lab technician specializing in the assessment of lead levels in the blood of industry workers and children, and he spent much of his free time volunteering at a local hospital.

Dr. Tom graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ, as a naturopathic doctor and is fully licensed to practice naturopathic medicine. Some of his professional interests include physical/sports medicine, general naturopathic family care, and acute and chronic care. His treatment modalities include nutritional counseling and supplementation, laboratory analysis, detoxification, food allergy management, botanical medicine preparations, and homeopathy.

When Dr. Tom is not working he enjoys being with his wife and three children. Some of his favorite activities include snowboarding, rollerblading, playing sports with his kids, playing video games, and watching movies. Dr. Tom is genuinely interested in his patients’ concerns and he will do what it takes to help them achieve their health related goals.

Timothy Hunter

Tim HTim attended South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC, where he received a B.S. in Biology with minors in Exercise Physiology, Plant Physiology and Chemistry. Tim then attended the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse (UW-L) where he received a M.S. in Human Performance with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. While attending UW-L, Tim was a graduate assistant whose responsibilities included designing strength programs for 10 NCAA Division III sports and coordinating testing protocols to quantify aerobic and anaerobic fitness.

After graduation, Tim relocated to Tempe, AZ, where he accepted the position of Bariatric Exercise Physiologist at Tempe St. Luke’s hospital. There he designed and reviewed exercise programs for morbidly obese individuals in preparation for gastric bypass surgery. Tim also developed programs to assist with the patients’ recovery post surgically and designed individual exercise regimens that helped accelerate weight loss.

Tim accepted the position of Clinical Exercise Physiologist at Human Performance Specialists, Inc. in Jan 2007 where he currently administers exercise assessments for clients, designs individualized training programs, and trains clients on site. Tim’s broad education and extensive training experience allow him to work comfortably with clients of all fitness levels and from all walks of life.

Thomas Deragisch

Tom DTom’s accolades include being listed in the Who’s Who Among Young American Professionals, Honorary Chairman of the Business Advisory Council, two write-ups in the Wall Street Journal, the 2006 National Leadership award and the 2006 Business Man of the Year.

Tom has strong sales, distribution and manufacturing credentials and over 22 years of successful senior management experience in every aspect of manufacturing, sales, service and distribution. He has conducted seminars and has consulted on strength and fitness techniques for several health clubs, fitness centers, rehabilitation clinics, and in the sports medicine industry. Tom has also earned an admirable reputation in the health and sports supplement industries for his expert knowledge of advanced strength training theories and techniques along with contest/fitness diet programs as well as being a highly successful health club owner, sports supplement manufacturer, and distributor/marketing consultant.

Tom has personally trained thousands of clients for general fitness, bodybuilding, and fitness and figure competitions with all of his contestants coming in first place! He has designed, equipped, and activated over 45 successful health clubs and rehabilitation centers in Hawaii and California. Tom is also civic minded and continually offers his expertise to non-profit health organizations.

Rhonda Deragisch

As the HHS Office Manager, Rhonda is the glue that holds the business and associates together. She has owned and operated several Health and Fitness businesses including a supplement company that was recognized by Inc. 500 magazine (2007) as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. After 17 years in the supplement industry, Rhonda sold her business – within two days on the market – and soon after joined HHS as an employee and investor.

Rhonda holds a degree in accounting along with in-the-trenches expertise on how to take any business to the next level in the human health and performance industries. At HHS, she will work with every patient to secure payment from their insurance provider and make certain they receive the best possible care.

Timothy Fortin

Tim FTim received his B.S. in Kinesiology from Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, AZ. He is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as well as a member of both the NSCA and the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). Tim is the Technology Coordinator at HHS where he implements and maintains network and web-based communication, information, and marketing systems.

During his time at ASU, Tim worked as a Personal Trainer on campus and as a Physical Therapy Technician with a physical therapy clinic in the valley. Tim has also spent a lot of his free time attending seminars related to strength training and sports nutrition as well as observing and talking with experts in the area. He is a firm believer that the most knowledgeable experts can comprehend the science and theory of athletic performance enhancement and also apply it to themselves and their clients in a real world setting. Tim not only talks the talk, he also walks the walk. His personal best lifts include a 512 pound deadlift, 400 pound squat and 275 pound bench press.

Linda Davis

LindaLinda Davis is an Arizona native, wife and mother to three children. She graduated from Westwood High School in Mesa, AZ, and then received her B.A. in Secretarial Science from Lamson Business College in Tempe, AZ.

Linda has worked as a legal assistant for the City Attorney of Gilbert, AZ; in the Government Sales Department of Qwest Communications; as a teacher at Redeemer Christian School in Mesa, AZ; and for the past 11 years as office manager for The Wellness Therapy Clinics in Mesa and Tempe.

In August, 2008, Linda accepted the position as Front Office Manager with Human Health Specialists. She coordinates the front office activities, orders supplies and supplements, greets clients and receives all contact, personal and medical information from them.

Linda enjoys working with the public and is sensitive to the specific needs of each client and helping in their diagnosis and recovery. She is a breast cancer survivor and continues her philanthropic work in promoting breast cancer research and awareness.
