History
Human Health Specialists (HHS) is a trade name licensed to Human Performance Specialists (HPS). HPS was formed in 1999 to work with elite athletes. We were so successful with our innovative, comprehensive testing procedures and treatment methods that the athletes started asking us if we could help their family members. HHS was formed to show that these effective protocols are useful well beyond athletics, and we have continued to implement them to help people from all walks of life improve their energy, fight disease, and optimize their health.
Values
Nurture a family environment – Create a family environment through open communication and teamwork. Treat patients with the same level of care you would give your own family.
Commit to ethical principles – Always try to do the right thing, and don’t take shortcuts or sacrifice integrity to get ahead.
Provide solutions – Get results when other professionals can’t or when they say there is no hope. If you don’t know the answer, find a respected expert who does.
Walk the walk – Practice what you preach. Our staff walks the walk by exercising, eating right (most of the time), and using our own products and services.
Maintain standards of high quality – Provide high quality care through high quality treatments, ingredients, and customer service. Take pride in what you do and always strive to be the best.
Embrace individual differences – Don’t use cookie-cutter programs or one-size-fits-all methods. Treat patients as individuals and recognize and respect their differences. Practice compassion and empathy.
Challenge the status quo – Think outside the box, ask questions, do what others are afraid to do, and be willing to take a risk.
Pursue opportunities to learn and grow – Stay up-to-date on the newest research and treatment modalities. Encourage and participate in continuing education opportunities and never stop growing as a person or professional.
Stay humble – “Speak softly and carry a big stick.” Provide leadership through actions, not words.
Have fun – “Laughter is the best medicine.” Don’t take life too seriously.
